Connecting Carers

Yea & District Memorial Hospital will be establishing two new carer support groups. One group will be open for anyone in a caring role to attend and one group will be specifically for people with Parkinson’s Disease and their carers. Both groups will provide an opportunity for people to come together to share their experiences and connect with other people in the community.

The open carer group and Parkinson’s support group will operate monthly. The groups will incorporate a range of activities, guest speakers, self-care sessions designed by the group for the group.
