About the Role

As a Job Coach at MADEC, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping participants overcome barriers and achieve meaningful, sustained employment. You’ll work with people facing a variety of life challenges that may impact their ability to secure work. This is a part-time opportunity based at our Swan Hill office, offering flexible working arrangements of 42 hours per fortnight.

 Job Description

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Developing career pathways using SMART goal setting
  • Connecting participants with training, support services, and community resources
  • Guiding participants through resume writing, cover letters, interview preparation, and job applications
  • Providing financial support through our Employment Fund when eligible
  • Coaching, motivating, and empowering participants to achieve their employment goals

No prior industry experience? No problem, we provide full training. What matters most are your attributes, mindset, and commitment to making a difference.

You don’t need formal employment services experience. Many people from backgrounds such as retail and hospitality, administration, education and training, and customer service roles across a variety of sectors have thrived in this role, what matters most are your people skills, adaptability, and resilience.
